the choice to learn how to count MACROS and plan my menu, and I gained the confidence and skills to do so.
Additionally, I was able to connect with many other members who are part of this program. The private Facebook group provides even more guidance and resources that are incredibly helpful. Although I was initially overwhelmed with Facebook, I found that I could read the posts at my own pace and take what I needed from them. At first, I had a bit of a learning curve, but I signed up for more and eventually got the hang of it. Changing our lifestyles takes patience, self-compassion, and grace, but it's worth it. OT focusing on nutrition but referring my clients to others who specialize in this. For many years I would send them to registered dietitians through the university. Others found success with weight watchers. Some enjoyed Noom. Others tracked calories on MyFitnessPal. All had some levels of success but with many issues - not enough accountability with the dietitian and myfitnesspal, and too few calories and lots of guilt with Noom and Weight Watchers. One of my girls heard about Stay Fit Mom and wanted me to try it with her. I was hesitant (oh my goodness not ANOTHER PROGRAM) but then FLOORED the more I learned. Macro Tracking (and the way you have formatted it) checks ALL of the boxes.
- No major push for supplements (thank god you aren’t a MLM)
